Joe, Amy, and A3M

In the past few weeks, I was very much saddened and sobered by the passing of two fellow bone marrow transplant patients. Although I never met them personally, we dialogued through our blog sites and email over the last half-year or so. Joe Lin and Amy Wilhoite were fighting the same battles we immunocompromised patients fear. Their stories are told on their blog sites ...

This underscores the importance of organizations such as Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches (A3M). As you may recall, A3M has been providing tremendous support during my five year diagnosis, bone marrow search and subsequent transplant. The annual A3M Starnight fundraiser is on October 14th at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. If you can, please show your support by attending the concert. There is also a reception and dinner prior to the concert (I'll be at both!). Tickets are currently on sale for all of the above. Please contact A3M for tickets at (888)236-4673.

Also, please consider showing your support by purchasing raffle tickets or donating items for the silent auction. Call A3M for more information.

Thank you for partnering with me on this journey.

Love, Nancy
