Golf Tournament for A3M

Hey Golfers and readers: On December 3rd, the Orange Coast Optimist Club (OCO) is again hosting a charitable golf tournament with net proceeds being donated to Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches (A3M). As you all know, A3M is on a mission to get API's registered in the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) so that all those in-need will have a chance to find a bone marrow/stem cell donor. API's are severely under-represented in the NMDP, making a second chance of life very difficult for those afflicted with leukemia's and bone marrow disorders.

Here's how you can help:
1. Donate 144 smaller items for inclusion in each of the golfer's goody bags and/or
2. Donate Raffle prizes and/or
3. Register to Golf in this charitable tournament and/or
4. Become a Tee Sponsor (your name or business name will appear at a tee box on the day of the event.)

You can even ask places that you frequently visit (i.e., restaurants, shops, etc) or businesses that you work with if they can help in any of the above ways.

You can find all the information on the OCO website. Go to http://www.ocoyouth.org/ and click on Golf Tournament. You can always email me or comment on my blog if you have any questions.

To find out more about becoming a potential donor or to learn about what A3M does, go to http://www.asianmarrow.org/

Thank you once again for your continued support and for following my blog. I appreciate each of you and I appreciate every day that I am alive.
love, Nancy
