Fighting Fever

I continued to run a fever all day again. I go from extreme chills to being way too hot. (Is this what menopause is like?) I couldn't get comfortable all day.

I received two units of platelets today (LC58256 x 2) and one unit of packed red cells (LC57983). Thank you all for continuing to donate directly to me. It makes a big difference.

About Me: My name is Nancy Sakakura. I began having problems with my blood counts in 2002. I was diagnosed with Myelodyplastic Syndrome (MDS) and Myelofibrosis in 2004 and have been in search of a bone marrow donor since that time. I will finally be undergoing a bone marrow transplant and will be admitted to the City of Hope Hospital in Duarte, CA on Mother's Day, May 14, 2006.
